So many used car adverts start out this way, but rarely are those cars perfect! Knowing this, long time customer of Car Shop Tanoshi came to us with a task – to build the ACTUAL perfect first car for his daughter… on a budget.
And here it is – This BMW 120i was sourced by Car Shop Tanoshi and over a few weeks transformed this junkyard wreck into the perfect first car for a 17yr old P plater. Chosen for its numerous features, 6 speed manual transmission (yep, she’s doing it right!) and leather seats, the new owners of the ‘baby beemer’ were stoked on delivery day.
This little thing was on the road including the car, and work above for less than $5k – and there’s literally nothing left to do for the next 60,000km!
Work done to the Baby Beemer included:
- Major drivetrain overhaul with new fluids, filters, belts, valve cover gasket
- Replaced Spark plugs and Coils
- Replaced missing engine bay trim pieces.
- Replaced broken suspension components
- Replaced Tires, Brake pads and Brake rotors
- Replaced rear window regulators.
- Repaired rear parking sensors
- Repaired Bonnet latch/release cable
- Complete interior strip and detail.
- Exterior Cut, Polish and Ceramic Coating
- Replaced interior trim panels
- Registration Compliance Checks and Wheel alignment.
