S Chassis Clutch Delay Valve (S13, 180sx, S14, S15)
Ever wondered why the Japanese drivers don’t blow up stock SR gearboxes? They haven’t deleted their OEM clutch delay valves! We’ve developed our own replacements with three tuning options, and we guarantee it’s cheaper than a new gearbox.
It might look small, but this little guy can save your axles, gearboxes and clutches. The CST Braided Clutch Line with integrated clutch delay valve is basically the driver mod you’re lacking — by letting the clutch slip just enough during hard kicks or fast shifts, it smooths out the shock that usually gets sent straight into your driveline. The result? Less broken shit.
The best part: pedal feel stays the same, shifts are still snappy, you only notice it when you go full beast mode on that clutch dump. It won’t mess with your driving—just saves your gearbox from going KABOOM!
Includes
2 piece braided clutch line to fit all S-Chassis.
Clutch delay valve
3x slip adjustment inserts (Drift- 0.04, Track - 0.028, Street - 0.021)
We broke third gear more times than we can count. We snapped 5 speed mainshafts. We broke axles. Then we installed a Clutch delay valve. No more breakages. We’re running one in every single build from now on.

Back in the 90’s and 2000’s. Clutches weren’t what they used to be - a ‘heavy duty’ clutch back then still slipped a little. Now - when you put something like a Uniclutch Track in your car with up to 2000nm of torque capability - your gearbox doesn’t stand a chance.

How do I tell if I still have my OEM delay valve?
Take a look at your clutch line from inside the engine bay - if it’s braided (flexible) , then you don’t have a delay valve. It’s been thrown in the bin sometime in the last 30 years.
If it’s a hard line - then chances are you don’t need this product - because your historical artifact of a Nissan Clutch delay valve is still attached to your (probably original) gearbox.
